Flynn is a fire truck. He lives at the Sodor Search and Rescue Center. He was brought to Sodor when Belle suggested for Sir Topham Hatt to bring another Fire Engine in order to help out with fires.

- He is the first fire truck introduced in Take-n-play.
- In most sets Flynn doesn't come with his trailer.
- In the 2011 collector's poster they shown Flynn's Trackmaster model instead the one used for Take-n-Play.
- Flynn has a special device beneath his under carrage that allows him to ride along the track with his railway friends.
- The trailer Flynn comes with says "Flynn's Tender" underneath.
